I think we should get the approval from the board members before we vacuum.

Ditto! Watching IIC Live RC coverage is making me real sad I am not in Vegas this year.

The Touring car even has a Tekin setup in it... Mario + Touring car + Tekin = the end of days.

Pits, restrooms and walk ways swept and mopped all trash taken out last night.
Look for small parts picked up and placed on your pit tables.
Carpet did not get vacuumed. Ready for track change.

Massive thanks for doing that clean up work Russ! And yeah the carpet needs a nice cleaning and a new layout. We going to the 2014 IIC layout for the next 8 months?

BTW I am selling one of my awesomatix cars, an Evo w/ Al chassis, extra chassis, and a bunch of extra parts. I figure I don't run enough to warrant 2 cars and I haven't run the Evo in months. Not sure on the price yet, I need to get everything sorted out on what parts and such. If anyone at 5280 is interested let me know.

Awesome job in vegas everyone! Qualifying is over. Kyle TQ in Stock, after having that class flat out locked down all week.

Art close behind in 3rd in stock. Art also almost TQ'd Super Stock ending up in 2nd in that class. Guess Art doesn't need to worry about being bumped up into the A anymore... he damn near owned it in the classes he ran this year

And Mario Ficco, driving a Touring car and almost making the A with it!

Here is what I put on Facebook:
Qualifying is over at IIC in Vegas! Here is where things stand for our racers making the show (or close to it) :

*Stock Touring-
5280's own Kyle Klingforth has had stock touring locked down all week, and carried it through to the final qualifier to TQ the class.

Not far behind him is Art Scrimo and Kyles dad Brent Klingforth who line up 3rd and 7th in that class. For a while in the final qualifier Art was looking to possibly take TQ away from Kyle in a very close battle that went to the final lap. The race should be excellent!

*Super Stock Touring -
Not content with just fighting for TQ in stock, Art nearly caught Keven Hebert for TQ. In the end Art will be starting in the 2nd position.

Kyle Klingforth will be starting 6th in the A, and Brent will be starting 4th in the B main.

*Stock 1/12 -
Mario Ficco ended up in 10th which will put him 1st in the B, but he has every chance of moving up if he has a good race.

*Super Stock 1/12 -
Joey Krysinski put together a strong in Qualifier 4, and got up to 12th. With a good run in that main he may just be able to bump to the A!

*Amateur Touring -
While its not the A, Nick Canelos put in one heck of a showing at IIC this year fighting up to 15th place which puts him mid pack in the B, not bad for a class of 50+ racers!

*Spec Grand Touring -
Mario Ficco is 10th, and has shown the pace to be in the A if he has a good run in the B. You read that right, Mario Ficco is racing a touring car... and rocking it!

*Formula 1 -
Mario Ficco qualified 2nd, after holding first on and off through the week. His main rivals have been team mate Brian Wynn, and VBCs Dave Ehrlich. The F1 A Main will be thrilling to watch!

Jim McGee qualified in 9th after having some very solid runs!

Nick Canelos came in just behind Jim McGee to take 10th place, not bad for the first outing at a big race for Nick!

*World GT -
Mario Ficco qualified 5th in World GT but only 4 seconds off TQ.

Good luck to everyone tomorrow!! Cant wait to see the hardware!

LiveRC did interviews with the Top Qualifiers after each day, here's the articles. Kyle's interviews are at the bottom of each page.
