I don't think I've ever posted here... but, to an awesome track with an awesome support group. I have to give it up to Ho B Max, they have really outdone themselves. Completely new store front, new CRC black carpet for crazy grip, and a parts section just for us racers. If they don't have what you need, just ask and they will do there best to accommodate and get the parts you need by the next race. Really a top notch facility! With off-road soon to be happening as well.

Hey ,

You should post a thread in the "Racing forum " for the Summer Slam race

Can we paid when we get there , like last year ? A bunch of us came down from Maryland for the last big race , looking forward to the Summer Slam

Ray- you can pay at the track when you get there but there is a $10 "late" fee if I read that right.

It says August 14 is the deadline for the $40 entry

I also want to post some useful info for any one coming to race from out of town.

The carpet is the new Black CRC carpet.

Most of our locals run Sorex tires. 28 or 32's

Some that have come to race and run Jaco or Gravity at their home tracks and have a good set up are right on pace with those tires also.

Also the compound that is allowed is Sxt 3.0 "reg or Lite"

If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask.

We are also allowed to run jdubz. It's a little less bite than sxt. Touring almost always runs sxt, it's mainly for the foam guys. But I may be the only one running it.

And I must say, the racing this past Sunday was nothing short of amazing. I May have finished horribly aka DNF... but still the talent we have in all classes at any given time is mind blowing. Hope we get even more close races on the next trip!
