New Track Terrace BC!!!!

Engineering to put a roof on there was a bit more complicated than was originally anticipated, lvl beams and special brackets . Apparently there can be a lot of lift when the wind comes. The engineer spect 3' overhangs front and sides and 3'6" on the back to cover the stairs, the roof is 26'x16! Will be worth it in the end, material for that is close to 7k.

...This track is on the road trip list. Looks great.
Hope you guys have a great season, and that maybe I will have a reason to stop in at some point.

Haha. I guess we have to make use of what we have available! The hard part is waiting for everything to come together, but it will. Eventually....
I've began to design a few new base track layouts that we will hopefully implement sometime during the 2016 season. The layout we have now from the end of last year actually works well but it was an extremely last minute thing that needed to get done quite quickly so I'm in the early stages of seeing what we can make out of it. We are looking for a fairly fast track while utilizing most of the 130'x80' area we have. The surface is pretty slick around corners so having the technical portions in the jumps rather than corners is what I'm thinking.
I'm looking for some feedback on what layouts all of you like or would consider. The track will be used for all types of vehicles. These are just layouts and don't have any features like jumps or anything implemented. I'm hoping to have one picked out then design jumps and things later.

I feel like I need to jam more track in than there should be room for. That means a lot of right angle turns and 180's to make use of the majority of the area without leaving a lot of empty space. Then again, we will need somewhere for water to drain to and that requires some areas to be open. Also a safe spot for marshals.
As of our layout now it seems pretty simple but the track surface makes any 2wd spin out very easily on many of the corners. Once you get going though it helps a ton. It's to be expected for 2wd to handle this way but I almost want to design a track that is in between an indoor SC/buggy course and a outdoor 1/8th course if that makes sense.

The tracks dont appear to be very fun. By that, i mean it is too many hairpins and right angles.
