Thanks for the responses guys!
I know things aren't set in stone but gathering the equipment and machines isn't something we can just do whenever we want. The track will most likely be a given layout for entire season so making something that people will say "wow" at is what I'm striving for. An engaging track along with a freshly built driver stand is the perfect way to attract our community and help bring the excitement.

Try to minimize double-sided walls (single barrier that divides two lanes). Islands make the track flow better, as well as provide marshals with more effective (and safe) positions.
Things are looking good. I would recommend that you also reach out to another established club (like kamloops) for some insight, before breaking ground.

Started our first race series last week, "Wings Bar and Grill July point series " . We split the buggys up into a/b 4 in each class. Fanatic01 has been doing a great job with the timing system and videoing, things are coming together!
