WCICS Round 1 - Overgeared Racing Presents Big Chill 2011
Much anticipated event of the year. Overgeared Racing is proud to bring you Big Chill 2011.
This year we hope to make it another great one for everyone to enjoy.
It''ll be also part of the WCICS Series which makes it the biggest series across Canada.
Same as last year, the event will be held indoors inconjunction with the Train and Hobby Show in Chilliwack.
Date is on Oct 14th,15th and 16th.
Oct 14 is set up date with practice later in the evening.
Address:
Chilliwack Heritage Park
44140 Luckakuck Way.
Carpet Track Size is 100X48.
Tables,chairs and power will be provided.Please bring your extensions.
More info will come as time gets closer. In the meantime if anyone know of anyone wanting to sponsor this big event like this, let Ryan aka "Tiny"
or myself know. Stay tune.
Tentatively Schedule:
Friday, Oct 14th
Track Set Up @ 2pm
Registration @ 6pm
Practice @ 6pm to 9pm
Saturday, Oct 15th
Track doors open @ 7am
Open practice until drivers meeting @ 9:30 am
Racing @ 10 am
Three Rounds of qualifying, re-sort after the 2nd and 3rd round.
Sunday, Oct 16th
Doors open @ 8am
Open track until 9am
Last chance qualifier @ 9:15 am
Mains

Hoping to make this race if the weather cooperates.
Just wondering what hotels do most out of towners stay at and do you guys organize a hotel deal?
Also, i think you guys do run a few other classes in BC that we don't run in the WCICS like Mod TC and F1 foam tires. However, in the past for the series, clubs do host "demonstration classes" which I assume these fall under as it doesn't count for the series points but still fun nonetheless for the local club. If you do, I might consider trying my hand at F1 foam tires as I don't have one...yet.
Looking like this race is getting some great "buzz" already and it's still 2 months away!
