Have you guys seen the upcoming HPI FWD mini? There's a little info on the rc-mini.net site on the main page. http://www.rc-mini.net/MiniWeb_Online/Main.html

It's not like we're going to be have these racing head to head with Tamiya minis, but it looks interesting. As I understand things, it won't be any faster then an M-Chassis in a straight line, but I suspect it will corner like mad.

I wonder if this will motivate Tamiya to offer an updated M-Chassis? Is there an M-05 on the way?

If it's going to be competitive against an M Chassis, why not let it race?

It does look pretty cool.

The best thing I think will come from this is that being an HPI car, they will offer new body shells for it !
That means for than just teh Civic to choose from I hope.

I'm sure that Tony and the boys over at rc-mini.net will have their hands on one as soon as they can.....and do every test imaginable to compare it with the m-chassis.....personally I'm happy that another company has decided to come out with this car....like Stu says....more choices for bodies....and everyone has to remember the great equalizer.....SILVER CANS.....enough said!!!!

See ya Sunday,
R

Put me down for a transponder, but I won't be able to make it out this Sunday to pay. I will be out next Sunday though.

Thanks

Essentially, we're running as close as possible to TCS rules, without being truly TCS compliant. As a club, we aren't going to go anywhere near the mess that one tends to see surrounding things like touring cars. (brushed/brushless/tires/weights/battery of the month/gearing/yeesh)

One chassis, one motor, one set of gears, one brand of tire, stick packs...it keeps it affordable, low maintenance, and puts focus on the driver.

Now, with all that being said. I WANT ONE! Whether I can race it or not is not an issue.
