Musings on the eve of the big race.......
Stopped at TQ Raceway and saw Elliott Miyashiro, setting up his new F1 car on the carpet at TQ....for racing asphalt tomorrow at Tamiya. Yup, that's how them Nor Cal F1 guys roll !
So it starts raining and the "Corona Aroma" rolls through (read fragrant dairy farms). A quick call to our local Aliso Viejo weather man (Max Valles) and the report is dry since Sunset. Good news !
Time to start packing to get to teh track at O-dark hundred hour to help with track prep so we will be ready to roll cars at 7:00 AM. Looking forward to lots of fun, some great racing, awesome BBQ and maybe a few surprises ?

Nah, that's not the "Corona Aroma". Cabrona doesn't have any dairy farms. That's the "Mira Loma Nights Eau de Parfum" or the "Norco Nausea", the delightful fragrance of millions of gallons of cow urine that have soaked into the dairy loam in the Mira Loma area for more than 60 years. Every time it gets damp round here, Chino and Corona get a blast from the past.

If anyone is familiar with using a Canon 6d camera and is slightly bored tomorrow, please see me (paging Charles Lightfoot, Mr.Lighfoot, please pick up the white courtesy phone). We would like to get pictures that we will post on RC Car Events and will also be used in our media mailing to various RC websites word wide so would like to get some pics and I do need to pay attention to some of the races or I will not be able to put out a race report that our Tuning Haus Winter Series participants have come to expect (they are a tough crowd).
And STAY TUNED for an announcement at tomorrow's race for...yes.......wait for it.........drum roll building....... TUNING HAUS SUMMER HAUS PARTY, PART 2 !!! A date is set, a location is secured and you will get to hear it first ! Okay. Bill and I already know so technically you will be second but you get the point. We hope that many of the racers who will experience the Tuning Haus race format for the first time will get hooked and come join us for Haus Party Part 2.
