I like that this club has zero nitro classes. If there's not a huge demand for it then we should keep it like that.

What do you consider to be "huge demand" then?

Default Club meeting

I’m not sure how many people were actually planning on coming on Easter Sunday for a meeting, everyone I spoke to couldn’t come due to family commitments on Easter Sunday. I love this club, but family still comes first. I thing moving the meetings to e-meetings only, would be a mistake for the club. Track meetings seam like a great alternative to evening meetings, to boost attendance, just not on Holidays. My .02

50-60 cars would be a good start.

You're tripping! By that logic, more than half the classes if not all would be deleted.

Why are you so against Nitro racing? This is supposed to be a hobby open to all. Just my thoughts.

They practice at URC. There does't seem to be more than 2 or 3, so they don't really have a class.

You can't expect me to think you're speaking on behalf of all "electric guys". If there's enough, run the class, simple as that. Either way, there's gonna be those who bitch, moan, and whine no matter what.

Well I guess some electric people think the track is only for them and nobody else.

That's what I'm thinking.. It's been killing me to have such great potential sitting around when the traction was so bad...

now we're around 11k square feet, 155'x85' at the largest point and pan car smooth and looking to hold larger events like CTS around May 5th. It's a work in progress especially the perimeter but bear with me, contractors are complicated.

I've heard some interest in a 21.5, USGT tire, Nastruck body class as well if anybody wants to bring them, we'll run any class that has ideally 5 but I'll talk about less to get a class going especially if for instance 21.5 nastruck could run with 21.5 USGT or something of similar speeds.

The complaint I've heard from electric guys that ran at GLARC is they don't like turn marshaling 20-30 minute mains, especially when the gas guys can't be bothered to marshal for 5 minutes. Not my opinion, I haven't been there, just repeating what I've heard from a select few to add to the conversation. I recall back in the day at Revelations (electric version), gas marshaled gas, electric marshaled electric. Of course you'd need more than one heat of gas guys.

Our nitro class ran two 5 minute quals and like a 10 minute main when i raced in Chula Vista. Had to make a pit stop once for fuel to finish the race. I think u still get the thrill of nitro racing this way and keeps the program going.
