Thinking of coming out Saturday, are all the clay compound tires working well (I have Suburbs/Scrubs on my buggy)?

So far, I am hearing M3 Square Fuzzies as the go to tire, so probably not clay tires yet. I don't have first hand knowledge myself yet though.

thnks frank...this is my first go round at a new track so im tryin to learn about tire selection as i go..i was assuming m4 compound as i kept hearing everyone refer to super soft..i wanted to pick up a few sets of "good" tires selectins and i was more or less shopping m4 compound or green in jc..i am def gonna buy a pair of m3 square fuzzies now i just wondered if you think m3/ soft as apposed to super soft would be a good choice for all tires. thnks

I picked up some M4 Figured it would be better than M3. Don't think I have to worry about them being to hooked up and create a push. Should be out Saturday or Sunday whichever is cooler.

Rear M4 Holeshots and fuzzies in M3 or M4 seem to be pretty good. Traction was better last night then it was saturday from what I am hearing.

I stopped by on Monday, and they didn't have much tire stock yet, although that could have easily changed since then.

I did talk to McDuffie about M4 vs. M3, and he said the M4's let the pins fold over too easily and were a little looser than M3's. The dirt looks like clay though, not sure how/if/when clay tires may work...

I ran Clay Suburbs last night and was pulling high 27s and low 28s. After switching to Soft Panther Switches I was consequently running mid to low 27s.

So the traction is getting there. I'll tell you each day I hit the track there it's getting stickier and sticker. We have been working the clay over the past week or so and keep it blown off every hour or so. I think by the next layout the clay will be super dialed.

There will be a little bit of a track change next week sometime.
