Yes those tires will be very good. When the track is first glued there is no dust in the groove. Considering its an electric race, I don't expect the track to come apart at all, except maybe at the faces of landings.

Like someone else posted on here, it will be a guessing game for the Fastest tire. Almost any tire will work, I've found this glue makes tire choice less sensitive than most surfaces.

Also to the person a few posts above, those tires work best when the track is glued but has a layer of dust on it, right before we do a new layout.

Here is the first layout after 2-3 months of little maintenance/sweeping. Little/no dust in the groove.

I think as long there is reg maintence going on we should be good.if it looks loose have that turn marshal sweep his area,as long as we get that all day I really don't see any issues

We had club racing last night and immediately after they started tearing the track apart. I'm sure they'll post pics when they get the new track built

For short course, I will be running holeshots, snipers and gridirons. Either super soft or soft

Starting the build tomorrow, I will post pics next weekend. It will be a 10th scale layout for the most part. Yes, and we have done many renovations to the facility since then.

From the updates to the site, you guy have done a lot to keep those coming for the next round informed! The new layout still going to be glued as previously noted?

Thanks Fairfield Inn by Marriott.
Once again they are providing a special room rate of $69.00 for this event

Give them a Call and ask for Robert to make your reservation @ 760-341-9100
mention JBRL or Palm Desert R/C Raceway to recieve the race discount.

They are located right across the street from the shopping center the track is located behind

72-322 Hwy 111 Palm Desert, Ca 92260
