It was an awesome day. Got my first run of 1/10 carpet today at TQ! I"ll be back for sure. Thanks Sean for making pit spaces, it was a crazy scramble to find space for some that came "on time". I almost left because it was so packed, but very glad I stayed for the sportsman sedan class. Fast group of guys there!

Default Best Day of Racing

My 1st Race at TQ........Its been 20 years since I have raced an Onroad car and it was Awesome!! It felt great to get really clean runs in and I even Qualified 3rd in 1/12th 17.5. I had one mistake in the Main which cost me a podium spot. I ended up traction rolling coming out of the sweeper. Other than that I didn't hit anything all day. The body doesn't have a single mark on it. It was fun seeing many of my old race friends and making new ones too. Even Tony Neisinger former 1/12th World Champ was in the house checking things out. "Come Back Time???"

Anyways I also had a blast announcing while Sean was racing although its hard to tell who's car is who's when they are all "White"... I guess this was TQ's biggest turn out ever and there was another series race at an other track yesterday too... Looks like Onroad is making a comeback!!
Also got some decent pictures event though indoor Lighting is tough to deal with. Hope you guys enjoy them.

Gotta Thank Proline/PROTOform for the Body's and Misc Supplies
TKO Competition Development for the amazing Diff Rings and Bearings
Uncle Don's Hobbies for my Parts Support.

Frank for great support in the hobby shop
Sean for a great facility and Atmosphere and a great day of racing.

If you see me in the pits say hi or hit me up on Facebook.....

Had an awesome day of running yesterday. Thanks to Frank and Sean for helping us all find room to pit, and a smooth race program.

I had fun running 13.5 1/12 for the first time even though Dave put an old-fashioned butt-whipping on us in the main!

Great pics Steve and congrats on your first race outing after seeing you out practicing. Good job on the announcing also. I think Sean has a good back-up when Joe cannot make an event. This weekend race has shown just how big the TQ family has grown !

And of course, my personal favorite pic. A win first race out on the new VBC Lightning F F1 Finished Wednesday with a new Protoform 13 body finished on Thursday and with my new KO radio I just got programmed on Friday night. Yeah, it was a busy week.

Sean - awesome to see your two largest turnouts have been your last two races. May have to start pitting in the parking lot.

Default New Series at TQ RC Raceway

Many of you have already heard but it is now official, TQ RC Raceway will be host to the So Cal RC Scale Series Presented by Tuning Haus. This is a series for Formula 1 and GT Sedan cars that emphasizes lots of track time, good clean racing, lots of track time, a race format that includes pit stops, lots of race time, points series for Expert and Sportsman drivers, and did we mention lots of track time ? The format is one 3 minute qualifier with average of your 5 best laps to seed you for your heat races, Formula 1 cars will run (3) 15 minute races each day and GT Sedan cars will run (3) 10 minute races each day. Then add the excitement and strategy of pit stops ! Attached is the series flyer and all the rules and race information can be found on the California Racing thread "So Cal RC Scale Series Presented by Tuning Haus". We hope to start the season in two weeks with a good turnout. All races will be run on Saturdays and will not be run on the same weekend as TQ's regular Winter Series.

STAY TUNED !
