You can predict weather as well ?!

Remind me to have you near the tables in Vegas. I'll need to know when to hit or stay

I just started racing 1/12th, and would like to run 17.5 in the series, but have a sponsorship. Will that be okay? I am not ready for 13.5, and I'd really hate to have to buy another motor after only having a single day on my 17.5.

I'm sure they'll let you run 17.5, Frank, unless you kick ass and take names.

Is the sorta-IIC layout going to remain until the IIC?

I would think Sean would allow you to run 17.5 as your primary sponsor is not a manufacture of a 1/12. However if you come out and spank everyone that may change. lol Personally... Im going through my 1/12 getting things back together for stock

Anyone can run 12th stock
There are no 1/12 amateur classes
Edit:
Guess Sean changed the rules
Huh
Hope enough expert drivers show up for the winter series ...
I know a few regulars that sure don't want to run 13.5, but certainly qualify as "expert or sponsored" drivers

Maybe I am reading this wrong . . but sounds like there is expert and sportsman 1/12, but that does not mean expert need to bust out the 13.5 . . . maybe expert 17.5?

***nevermind, actually went to the link, guess it is 13.5***, guess maybe all the experts can petition to keep it 17.5 though?

??? Define the Level of Sponsorship for 1/12 17.5 please?? Does this mean I have to by a 13.5 just to run 1/12th because I have a sponsor.....

not sure i wanna race 13.5 just because the class is not allowing sponsored drivers that was half the field!

eXpert 17.5 probably wouldn't be a bad idea

I'm all for 13.5, 10.5 mod whatever
It's just that those classes haven't panned out all that well in the past

I have not been there in a few, so just getting back however .. .

the idea is likely that half the field is causing the other half to spend more than half the race pulling to the side . . . and at that point things need to be separated. I think if the motor is a problem then have an expert 17.5, but if you are putting the rest of the field down 4 laps by the 4 minute mark . . . better to add some separation so the sportsman can feel like something other than a moving speed bump. For the record I prefer 13.5 to 17.5 any day, every day. I don't get why people are resistant at all.

I like the 17.5 Expert class idea. I don't mind running expert, I just don't want to be forced to run 13.5 before I am ready, not to mention spending another $90 on a motor when I bought my 17.5 last week

TQ Racing - Do you think we can add a 17.5 Expert Class for the Winter Series please?
