sorry I could not make it. Went to TQ yesterday and the speedo went up in Novak smoke. I will get a replacement and hope to make another race soon.

Anyways it was fun running mod. Don't know why I haven't done this sooner. Love this speed thing. Just gotta to remember to turn at the end of the straight.

It was a really beautiful day to be out in the sun at HB.

Yep that is what happens when you try to run a 17.5 in mod class. Burned up the kinetic and the balistic 17.5. Oh well, live and learn, but that was a $275 mistake. It was fun while it lasted and it did look cool watching my car go up in smoke.

what tires is everyone running? i got my nitro car all back together and im planning on racing in corona but i only have one old set of rp's on the car. and those were hand me downs. one more question. what do the numbers mean? like 28r from sonex?

You tires are "Sorex" and the 28 means 28* C(temperature)
Most of the Nitro guys use either a Sorex 36 or Foams...I recommend Sorex. There should be a few Nitro guys at Corona. Jai, Steve, and Omar are usually the ones running nitro.

Does the Kinetic have a boost or turbo option in its settings? I know its a bit late for that but if it did, you could have programmed that in and run faster on the straights with lower gearing.

My Novak 5.5 Velocity was running 7.0 FDR and it temped at 165 F at the end of the run.
