A few racers planning on coming out to CAL this Saturday. F1. Mod, GT10, GT12. Come on out! I will have a Mini Enduro for the 1st 10 cars on the track..a good 45 minute race!!! Come on out and get some practice in! Heck, we can make it an HOUR with lights on at the 30 minute mark! COME ON OUT!!!

Squishy and Scott B coming as well as Chris C and a few other locals. CAL baby! Nothing like racing RC cars!!!

Hey Charlie for the F1 cars.. what motor is allowed or are they racing.. also is the f104 run in that class... i see the hpi and tamiya cars are a little different... looking to get into this class..

by the way racing was lots of fun in surf city.. even though i never got passed that guy doug..lol i was on his ass.. but never could get it right to pass clean.. theres always next month..

One other question is racing for surf city on the 1st of the month going to be on the 1st.. which will be back to back saturday and sunday....??

For F1, it is Mabuchi or 21.5. I would love to see a MOD F1 class someday.
Yes, THe Surf City 700 is on a Saturday and Surf City CLub race on a Sunday. For the teams who are out of town like the SD and Norcal guys, as well as the Camarillo guys, they get a room and do a 2 day thing. More racing for everyone!

Hey Charlie, UF1 does have a "MOD" F1 class... 200mm maximum width... ANY tires, ANY motor, ANY ESC, F1 body with realistic wings... we were hitting 45+ mph on the straights at West Coast...

hey guys, also have a question about F1. I see the UF1 rules say that 2cell lipo allowed. My quesiton is do you know what 2Cell will fit in the HPI Ten F1 Chassis?

You still are going to a racing for us "other" guys... Touring car, mini, and Gt-10 right? Or is this just for F-1 guys?

BTW Mr Lightfoot....im putting together my MODIFIED F1 FYI. My F103 will be up and running soon. Maybe i will see you at Long Beach this Friday with the FREE Passes you can download at the Tamiya Site. Also, ANgie and i figured out how the F1 guys do not need to start earlier so we will be good to go. Better, efficient racing for everyone!
