Hey guys how's the rookie class? Good turnout? I want to start racing again and it looks like I just might be able to make it this weekend. First and last time I raced with OC Circuit was at the Lowe's Shootout. Since then I've moved away and then back. Haven't touched R/C since! I picked up a T2 about a month ago and it hasn't seen any track time. I'm hoping to get my 9 year old into it as well with my old TC3.

Rookies welcome?

Yes, Rookies are welcome. We usually sport about 5-6 rookies from 6-12 years old. Little Anthony Dunn and Kalani Larsen has been duking it out for the past few months so it is a very exciting class. Come Bring the fun!@ La Mirada!!!!

Thanks cornerspeed.. actually after looking at your sig I realized I already downloaded some of your setup sheets. Any recommendation on pinions/gear ratio for stock motor?

I think I'll start off with my son in rookie class and see how much work I need..

About the gearing for a stock motor, umm, I never run stock at all. That would be the only thing I can't really help you out on. Maybe someone else can chime in on a starting point for you. If I could guess, anywhere from a 6.00 to 5.80 to start. Of course depending on your motor also.

a2theb - what stock motor do you have? I can give you some starting ratios but I need to know what motor you're using.
