There was a rumor for a while of an indoor track coming to the Irvine area. But that seems to have died off.

So where's everyone racing now? I took my son to Huckleberry and Revelation Raceway and he's having a blast. I have a 1/8th scale buggy and he has a 1/10 SCT, not sure if there anywhere else we should check out. I want to make sure we support these local places so they don't all disappear!

Hello,

NO the former owner did not pass away. Robert Black is alive an well. The former landlord passed away and the sons took over and got greedy and gave the lease to the church.

I heard a slightly different story... something along the lines of there being a feud between the church and the track over parking, church gets the landlord to non-renew the lease so the church can "expand" , but after the track shuts down and vacates the property, the church claims they miscalculated their budget and backs out which effectively solves their parking feud.
