You know what I'm tired of? I'm tired of all of these people overvaluing their stuff. Guess what if you USED it, then it's used. So why are you trying to get $5 less than what you bought it for new? These people being "lowballed" are probably the people I'm talking about. Your tires with "80%" tread aren't worth eighty percent of what you paid for them new, they are worth less than half of what they were paid for so when somebody offers you $20 you should understand. I know I know you paid X number of dollars and only ran your item "a couple" of times, but it's still lost a lot of value. This is the only arena I've ever seen where people expect their stuff to hold value like it does. Despite the fact that it's a sport where everything gets used up faster because of the nature of it. So keep listing your transponders for $90 when they are $100 new and your mamba combos for $240 when a new one $237 and comes with a warranty, then getting pissed off when somebody "lowballs" you. It's used stuff that you don't want for some reason and I'm sorry you made a bad purchase and you want to redeem it by getting almost all of your money back.

Ok, I will get off my soap box.

Ya many people are oblivious to just how much the value of most any R/C item falls off when even slightly used. I don't see so many on here though as I do ebay and craigslist, craigslist being by far the worst. No one's going to give you $300 for your used piece of shat T-MAXX!

Maybe I don't see it happening as much in the UK, but I hear ya on that

I don't sell much of my stuff because I buy wisely and only what I truly want or need in my own mind to either improve my racing or keep the car working as well as I want it to, I don't have a big disposable income for my r/c and don't race to win at all costs, but of course it is nice to win.

I race at club level, where racing should be FUN and my sponsorship is purely to help others find what they want from a LHS, sometimes even with a little discount when possible!

But when I do sell my stuff, I sell with honesty, trust and for a fair deal.

And I only sell stuff that I am allowed to sell (people that sell off sponsor given product are idiots! )

I value the sponsorship I have been given and my own reputation of racing for 15 years....

Enjoy the racing and the deals out there, we are all in it together...
