ok here is my engine. no rust in it. i do use a fair amount of after run though, but still any engine taken care of should not rust. i think your after race care technics are a bit iffy metho.
honestly, any fuel if drained out of the engine then after run applied to the engien will not make a engine rust whether the nitro is from USA China Bangladesh Uzbekistan yourmumiztan or whatever.
i increased the brightness on one of the pics for a clearer view

and all the rest of the brands around the world .Massive mods fuel is the best of the best and no one can say any different .
so explain to me then arm chair engineers why has my engine produced corrosion with the massive fuel and not with any other fuel on the market .come on guru's you know better give me an explanation im waiting.
still waiting .let me tell you massive mods fuel is in the same category as HHQ's super drop and the answer to that is bad quality .cheap and narsty chemicals that destroy engines.

Go back several pages and read. Here is an exert from one of Massive's posts.
"Anyway back to it , I asked him the simple question . Why do cranks rust ? Is it the Nitro that does it or the methanol. And here is his answer
BC
Its actually the alcohol that precipitates the problem, and nitro to a lesser degree. When fuel is burnt, it leaves nitric compounds in the engine. When the wet alcohol left in the crankcase is exposed to air (which contains moisture), the alcohol will suck the moisture out of the air before it evaporates off. The moisture then combines with the nitric type compounds in the exhaust residues and forms one of the nitric acids, that does the corrosion damage. The best rust inhibitor is castor oil for glow fuel engines. It makes no difference what type of nitromethane is used and using the purest stuff (Chinese) is still the best bet. There has been thousands of articles online about the problem, and the single cure is user maintenance.

Guys dont worry Methanol is angelo a con o moo from team crowbar , He disent even own a nitro engine or ever used MM fuels , let alone driven in a race before
And yes well spotted Andrew , thats one of the best explanations on engine rust, and it was written by the Fuel Guru Brian Cooper ! Champion Man !

No some are better than others , what you wanna do is get the filter and suck through it and see how easily it allows air through when its oiled ... what you want to look out for is using the right oil too, i like K&N spray on , its very fine yet sticky .. hope this helps ..

But yeah Ari could drive anything. But the CEN Truggy looked VERY nice

I love how you say ACTUALLY all the time ,.. At The NSW Titles the track was in the same conditions it was a few weeks ago ... Ian set the record on the 3rd day of racing , the track was well munched up by then.. Actually ... lol

where talking about the 2006 state tittles right.... when it rained.
the track was never munched up. it was either to wet and slippery to negotiate the track or after they limed it then within 2 races the track was like pottery clay but just a little firmer...... the track will never be that flat or offer that much grip again

Yes the fuel has a rust inhibitor in it , We also have a moisture retardant built in .. you can opt to just run the fuel out of the engine at days end or do that and put some trasmission oil in or castor oil . Run the motor over for a few seconds on the box to coat everything and youre set. But as long as you run all the fuel out , thats the most important thing .
Cheers !

Last Sunday was round 3 ( and my first as a married man! ), and it was another damn hot one.
In the morning I banked a time with a slipping clutch and then set about trying to get the clutch right since this was my first time out with some updated clutch parts for my engine.
The day was a bit frustrating as it took some time to get a clutch combo working well. In the end, I just went with what I knew and since I had the limited track time, I was 3rd off the grid.
My engine tune was way off for the conditions, but as always, the Scorpion 333Z kept things under control and if it wasn't for my own mistake with 3 laps to go in the main it would have been win number 3 for the season.
As it was I was able to wobble around long enough to hold on to second place.
Thanks again for the great products.
P.S. In case anyone is wondering, no this is not a paid advertisement - I buy the fuel from the local distributor here since it has proven itself in the harsh conditions over here in WA.
Cheers,
Mike.
