I believe model flight only shipped to retailers and possibly only received stock themselves on the official release date.

Call me a negative cynic but $480 is a bit pricey for a 2wd buggy.. The worthless Aussie dollar is probably not helping.

The kyosho sells for same and more. Can't compare the b5s as they come poverty pack standard.

Last RB6 I got out of Japan was $420 posted.
But you are sending your money OS which isn't the best and something I'm looking at changing

True but Kyosho have always been overpriced in every thing they make. People pay it so they have no reason to stop it.

Your money goes OS eventually anyway. Just the number of people who grab a cut on the way. Always good to support local shops that are willing to be more than a mark up though. Very little margin can be had in race gear sadly.

Nbhc are currently 515 for rb6 and rcrs are 485. So that puts the 3.0 22 on the lower end. There is a lot of nice machined alloy parts in the losi and the kyosho which cant be cheap to develop and produce.

The US street price is $329, by time you change that to Australian, and add postage you're over the Model flight price anyway.
The Aussie dollar has taken a decent dive over the last few months.

I'm putting a little each week, so I can pick one up around xmas.

Hmmm, I was wondering about that price drop on the 2.0 from modelflight (after I paid the big dollars about a month prior) could be about. Now we know.

Thankfully I am a glorified basher who has no love for forward cab design, so the only thing that is a jab in my kidneys is paying the big price.
