Racing is on Tomorrow
Racing is scheduled for tomorrow, hopefully see you there. Also, looks like our Novice class is growing so if you are new, don't be scared to come join us for some wide open track practice. Would be great if you are new and want to join the novices. We will do our best to help you understand your car, where you can improve on and answer any questions you might have.
Normally we are open to running 21.5, 13.5, mod, mini, 12th scale, nitro, GT, GTe, Pan. But we encourage you to come bring what you like and we will put you in a class to be competitive .
Racing will start about 10:30am and finish about 3:30pm. We will be starting to clean off the track about 830, help is always welcome

2016 Last Race: Sunday 11th December
Hi All,
This Sunday 11th December will be our last race meet for the year. Would be great to catch up with some old faces we have met throughout the years!
We will start 11am through to 4pm with Touring/GTe/12th scale/Mini/VTA/Novice/BYO all welcome to join in the racing!
BYO can race with novice and it is free! All other classes and members are $15 and $10 respectively.
All memberships are due now and we will have membership forms to fill out and submit to race control if you like on Sunday.
We will pick back up again on the 29th January 2017 due to the IMCC Cup.
Hope to see you all there!

Hi All WMCC members and racers,
Sorry to hi-jack your thread with promotion for our event, but we wanted to invite you to team up with your mates and put a few teams together for the 2016 2.4 Hour Le Mans, hosted by PDNR next Tuesday night 20 December.
If you have never heard about this event, the 2.4 Hour Le Mans is a 1/10 scale 24 hour endurance race where teams compete with one car for 2.4 hours – which is exactly 2h:24min.
Event Details
Entry fee: $50 per team
Minimum of two drivers per team
No dedicated marshals – teams marshal own car
Classes
LMP1 - 1/8th Scale, 1/10th Scale 235mm – GP or EP
LMP2 - 1/10th Tourer – GP or EP
GT1 - 1/8th GT – GP or EP
This event has up to 20 teams competing all together non-stop for 2 hours and 24 minutes – putting both drivers, and their machines to the greatest test of
endurance.

Happy New Racing Year!!!
Next club day will be the 2nd week of February being 12/02/2017. We will still be running every 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.
I am sure the locals will be down at the track including myself for some practice in the coming weekends. We will also plan a working bee shortly to clean up the store rooms and some general maintenance on the track as well as have a meeting on our coming year ahead. Things to come:
1) WMCC Annual Championships - more details to follow and to be discussed at our next club day.
2) Potential track modification to suit other potential classes (ie 5th scale) and improve drivability.
3) New canteen/storage/facilities - currently being built by council next to the track (you may/may not have seen this but it is looking great!).
All memberships are now due unless paid in December last year (which we will honor an extra month of membership to have a standard calendar year cycle). As of 1st January, all memberships have expired. Membership forms will be available on club days or you can pre-print yourself and fill out the attached on our Facebook page. All forms and payment must be made together at race control on a club day.

Please note for everyone: Marques (about 50sqm), Tables and Chairs (about 20 of each) are available at a first come first served basis for any racers/families to use on club days at no cost. All we ask is that they are packed up and returned to the store rooms as you took them at the end of your day.

We will be there around 8am to setup and quickly get to racing shortly after so we can beat the heat and everyone can go home to air conditioning before the heat hits in the afternoon.
Please bring or be ready for rejoining as members of the club for those who didn't do so right before Xmas.

NOTICE!!!!
As of next month WMCC will be running 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays of the month. This means that when a 5th sunday occurs in a month we will race, this is so we can race every 2 weeks and occasionally twice in a row, this is to try and promote the racing and allow our members to race at other venues on the 2nd and 4th Sundays.
Next race meeting: 26th of March
After that we will race 1,3 and 5= 2nd,16th and 30th of April

Good morning all
Due to the ludicrous amount of recent rain council hae closed the grounds for ALL sporting activities, even though we dont use the grass areas we are going to cancel our club day in order to make sure we don't get in any trouble as last time a few others used the fields even when they weren't supposed to, sorry for anybody who was getting ready for it.
In another hand myself and possibly a few others are going to head down to Wollongong and race at IMCC, this club is fantastic and i recommend you race on it if you can
