There are half a dozen guys runnings the RB5. In the right hands its a competetive car.

I've been drooling for RB5 for some time myself

Not much cross compatible parts though, the rear shocks and rear wheels maybe...I'm no expert though, certainly the metric screw set will stay place unlike that imperial rubbish

Be aware that you'll be ordering your parts O/S as it's not a locally supported product as yet...

Hi All,

For those interested, the Collectors article on the enduro will air on 1st May, 8:00 pm on ABC1.

Not sure I want to see how unkind the camera is to my appearance, but I'll be forced to watch anyway!

Woo Hoo!

Looking forward to seeing if Raoul makes an appearance!

Ran the SC10 yesterday and although I had a very disappointing first run - it was much improved upon in the second race. Very different style of driving (like steering a bathtub full of mud) but I'm slowly getting used to it.

Pros:
Very quick car (FYI: had the Passion Pop silver can brushless equivilent in it)
Jumps the triples with ease

Cons:
Kit tyres have a severe lack of grip
Short Course trucks steer like... short course trucks!

Not the Slash Crusher yet... (watch this space)

Thanks to Dave for the paint job and to Matty and Mick for sorting out the steering.

I'm running an rb5, cos I'm a kyosho fan from way back when I was a kid. Some parts are interchangeable from the ZX5, like rear wheels, shocks, hubs etc. It's abit easier to drive then the b4's. But parts support is non existent in oz. I get most of my stuff from os anyway so thats not an issue for me. As far as competitiveness goes, its all in the driver. The b4's, cr's and rb5's are pretty much of a muchness. They handle differently, but can be tuned to however you like it.

your telling me that the sc10 is more of a dog out of the box than a slash

that will annoy a few sc10 lovers that thought they were the be all,and end all of shortcourse

Here are a couple of videos I found on Youtube of a HPI Savage cutting laps at Knox. Not sure who the driver is?
