thought about it - but would go more like a 6.5t for mod 4WD, this 10t in the hpi is mean enough - but I'll leave it in the firestorm when I get it for a bash car as well.

For you to run 4wd mod you first have to learn to give way to the faster driver, and not try and win the race on the first corner

I'd like to see a ZX5 RTR with a 5.5 bolted into it.

Hey guys,

Thanks for a great day's racing last wekend.

It was good to be able to put faces to names of some of the people who grace these pages...

Neil it was good to catch up again. Glad i could help with the lend of the motor. ( I know that Hacker hauls arse in 4wd now.)

Cheers

I give way if I am being lapped... other wise first corner is hole shot - I'll hold me line in a race just like anyone - if someone is faster then they can find a way around, if not too bad But in my last few clubbys I haven't been lapped at all - been doing the lapping.

Racing doesn't mean move out of the way - means hold your line & get away from the crashes at the start From then on I'll battle best I can - if its clear I am holding someone up I'll battle for a bit before I'll just call out to go past & pull over.

Was just a thought between myself & Lookie - just for some fun. But I'd rather keep my setup as is for now & have another class to race on the day for a time filler HPI's E-firestorm with the 10t in it ain't too bad & would suit a bash car as well.

Has anyone ever had the magnets that are stuck to the inside of the can on a brushless motor come loose and want to fall out as a whole unit?,or have I just found a new way to kill a motor. What would cause this? All the windings are good and secure within themselfs just not attached to the can anymore.

Magnets on the can? or the rotor as in brushless, sounds like bonded rotor coming unbonded not uncommon, new rotor and your on your way again
