Can someone post the track's street address or melways reference? I'd like to look it up before coming over so I can plan the drive

Personally I believe you are going to a lot of work to gain not much in extra track! What I have heard you are talking about moving the corner out towards the fence, lifting it up 1 metre or more (thats a lot of dirt) . This makes the inside corner virtually on the outside edge of the old track. Most drivers try to be within 1 metre of the inside corners of track so the other 1 1/2 to 2 metres of the track is mostly not used, so there is a lot of dirt and work being done and most of the dirt won't be used unless you are way offline for the corner.

I believe it was a general consesus, that eventually that part of the track would be used. With much discussion and to keep it really simple the new part of the track will have a hard left after the jump then come onto a table top which will then progress to a banked corner. The banked corner will most likely have a 200mm fall. Now picture the outside edge of the track immediately to the back of the track in the exhisting corner, it will now be our new inside edge.
