Either way I'll be running both 2WD buggy & 4WD Truggy. House mate will race one as well.

Lookie - Proline rubber all round & .... "3 Racing" ZX-5 Shocks on the Tamiya now
a zx-5 part on a tamiya!. Does this mean you have seen the light and realise that kyosho make the ultimate racing machines?

I was hoping to run Mod Truck on Sunday, but if there isn't a mod class, I'll guess I'll have to (reluctantly) run stock.

Well considering ifmar is too useless to have them on their site and I couldnt be arsed trolling the net for results. I would have to say it has been a long time seeing as they have only just got back into 2wd/4wd offroad ep. But you would have to say they are more competitive than tamiya :P

Joel Johnson, Kyosho Ultima, England 1987. The 4WD winner was Masami Hirosaka, driving a Schumacher Cat, with an Uno motor.

The fastest car in a straight line does not always produce the fastest lap times???? There was a fella at this years Vic's with a B44 clocked at 59kmh... he was in the C final.....
Is there only one round of the VIC titles, doesn't that give a BIG home track advantage?

No - a 3 Racing part made for the zx-5

And also No... not yet. I'll just use their parts to make mine eat them j/k'in

In all seriousness, I am screwed coz I have this truggy & 2WD tamiya. In the end when I am working I'll get rid of them for a B44 or ZX-5. But for now I am stuck with them. or maybe I'll just give them to the club for new comers to have ago with.

So since I just forked out a total of 800 odd for both with some parts, might as well try & make them run ok for now. More the Tamiya then the truggy tho.

Vic Titles are just that, the State Championship.

Big home track advantage? No.

If you think youve taken what youve got as far as you can, do yourself a favour mate and get yourself a B44. The fastest most reliable 4wd on the market, and easy to get parts. If anyone tells you otherwise they really dont know what they are talking about.

Ah yes, the B44. I believe it's undefeated at sanctioned events.

yeah but my B44 rocks harder! its the best 4wd i have ever raced, period....

cheesemans car is going really well, but considering you just throw the B44 on the track and it works, its a no brainer really.
