Great days racing today @ Knox for the first round of the Metro Series. Track is looking the goods!
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rr, it was cold!!!

2 wd mod smelt a bit fishy early on on the piece, but it was Mark "Poli" Polestina with the win in the end. Hehehehehehehehehe.

Johhny G was all class in 4wd Mod, clean sweep.

It was interesting to run the silver can, with an olden day 4200. Seems the LiPo 540's are a damn sight faster, easier to punt off the track when they try a move though, Hooorhooorhoor! Miksta with a win, I managed a 3rd, making too many mistakes. I saw some paint drying and that looked kinda interesting.....
I'll give it another shot when you're back Ant! Thats if your not locked up in a cellar with some weird Austrian with a moustache......

Ahh yes, 2wd mod had a hint of Stinky Cheese in the first heat of the day, the Polly-waffled through in the finals. he he hehehe

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Very cold early and another BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR when the sun disappeared.
Too Twisted wins leg 2 of 2wd 540 with a slighlty undergeared 540. I think the grass grew 2mm nominal in that race!

Johnny G showed us all what got him into the A final at the Nats with his B44. All in all a MADCORE day at Knox! BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Hi all

Good to see you all briefly on Sunday and it was great to see the amount of entries as well. The track is looking great compared to the Knox Cup when I was last there.Well done Johnny G.
Looking forward to racing in the Metro Series when I return in July.
Thanks to Michael for the loan of the B4 for one race.

Champ, i walked off the drivers stand from running my B44 with the 5.5 to be handed a transmitter to drive young Lachlans Losi. I thought Gary had given me a flat battery, I almost broke the trigger trying to grid it up!
but yes too twisted was back in the 540 2wd winners circle at knox like I did about 10 years ago!
It was hard work to come from last to take the lead on the mogules on the last lap!

Hi guys,

dropped out to the track for a couple of packs yesterday as I had a meeting not far away. The changes are really good! I really like tracks with elevation changes.

Wish I could have been there on Sunday..
