1/12 scale at BRCCC
Hi all,
We are trying to get the 1/12 Eurostock class up and running at BRCCC Wynnum for this season. A few of us have already done some testing and the 10.5 blinky format works very well around there. There seems to be quite a bit of interest in this class and it looks like we may get a decent turnout with a few car builds going on at the moment..... At this stage I believe the club may be looking at doing a midweek race night for 1/12 with possibly another class or two, (will try to get some feedback on which night suits the majority). stay tuned.......
Cheers
Clayton

Club Championship - Round 1 - 19/01/13
The first round of our club championship was a great night. It was great to see so many faces that we haven't seen in a while. Unfortunately, the weather decided to rain on our parade so results had to be called on qualifying. We had some surprising results in 21.5 with James taking the win from Steve and Noel finishing in 3rd place. A big congratulations to Sydney who finished in 4th. Now that's a big step up from RWYB.
17.5 was combined with our 13.5 class and whilst Johnny was the winner, Duncan finished in second (not bad for his first run with his new 13.5) and Angus would have to be deemed the most outstanding driver finishing in third with his 17.5. what a great run. A big pat on the back for Alex. His fourth place result would have to place him as the most improved tonight.
Modified saw a field of 7 drivers. Great to have you all back at Bayside. Jason was successful just ahead of Anthony and Corey in third. Michael completing the awesome foursome.
Gas Tourer saw veteran and experienced driver Wade retain his reputation of being hard to beat but with young Cooper hot on his heals how much longer will he be able to hold onto it. Trevor completed the podium in third.
Many thanks to our volunteer Race Directors David, Brendan, Steve, Duncan and Leo. Thanks to Mark and Sydney for cutting the grass. Darren for organizing the drinks at short notice. Mark and Leo for preparing the track. Lisa for running the computer and everyone who lent a hand to help set up and pack down.
