Hello everyone been a long time but we have finally set a date for our next race at railway raceway in bordertown. Saturday the 14th of March, or Sunday the 15th. we will run our next event as a one day race but we would like some feed back ASAP. Our ideas are either race Saturday and the open track Sunday. Or open practice Saturday then race all day Sunday. Please let us know on the railway raceway thread. Cheers goody

Hi guys,

I don t know if you, at the last AGM, talked about weather policy, but what about to start looking at Noarlunga temp. instead of Adelaide/Elizabeth temp.
Everyone knows that there are always 2/3/4 degrees different between the two location and we are closer to Noarlunga than Elizabeth.
We also finish to race at 3 pm and usually we reach the max. temp. after that time.
It would be a win win situation for the club and the members.

What do you think?

Default SCT Mod 4WD Set Up

Hi,

I am current considering racing in SCT 4WD Class - I am looking at the Losi SCTE or Tekno SCT410

Any suggestions which of the above would be the best chassis?

As far a ESC and Motor set up any suggestions

I am planning to come down to the track and have a look at the next race, but would like to get a head start on working out my budget.

Thanks

I don't own either, but from what I've seen the Tekno is the better truck. No local parts support though, which is a big selling point for the Losi. The hobbywing Xerun combos are solid, don't get too carried away with motor as ours is only a small track. Good high capacity batteries are vital for 4x4 SCTs, they tend to be quite taxing on amp draw.

Alternatively, buy my 2WD Serpent SCT

Is the 2WD class more popular? Which has the best fun factor, I am really just a basher and don't wont to get to serious with set ups etc, just looking a fun day out with like minded people
