Default Need Some Help With An ESC

Hey there all once again I need the wisdom Of the RC forum. I have been offered a LRP SXX to buy. Now this ESC will be used initially for 21.5 With My LRP X12. And then will also be used in 17.5. It is between This ESC or The hobbywing justock (I have been offered one for the same price as that ESC <--).
Any Important Info I should know about the receiver please let me know.

All Help Is Appreciated

Regards

The just stock is fine in 21.5 as most on road now run blinks mode, but if you move to 17.5 and want boost you can't with the just stock.

Can comment on the LRP

both not good when you go up to 17.5t. Get a Hobbywing Extreme or 120amp version esc. Speedpassion or Venom 120 amp versions will also work.

the sxx is a great speedy for offroad, or even a mild mod touring car.

for your onroad application(21.5/17.5) a tekin or hobbywing is your best bet.

+1. I use a Tekin RS Pro for 17.5 boosted on road. LRP SXX V2 for 4wd off road stock. The powerband on the Tekin doesn't make for a good Off road 2WD speedy, so I use a Hobbywing Xtreme for that class. Never tried the SXX V2 in 2WD. From all accounts, all the fast guys run Hobbywing.

Prob a good idea. From all accounts, the V1 of the SXX's firmware can't be upgraded like the V2's can.
