Default Adeaide Nitro Monsters???

Howdy All. I've recently moved to Adelaide and would like to know if nitro monster trucks have much of a following here?

There are a few guys with LST's and Revo's, just try not to use our local off road electric track for the monster trucks, the neighbours dont like the noise and they are pretty hard on the track

Model Flight are a bunch of good blokes, they are dealers for the LST, Revo and Mini-T.

They're at 42 Maple Ave, Forestville. They support the racing in SA so support them too

Other good stores are Hobby Habit on Main North Road (i dont know thier exact number), SA Hobby Center in Rundle Mall and Complete Hobbies out at Brahma Lodge/Salisbury. Complete Hobbies are pretty big in the large-scale nitro scene, the other stores do have nitro gear but not as much as Complete. Rumor has it they're planning an off-road nitro track, too.

All the stores are listed in the Yellow Pages also.

"so support the shops that support racing" is that why you buy all your gear of the internet

lol :P

Im such a hyprocrite, but I did try to get my RC12L4 at the LHS, but I never recieved an answer as weather they could get them and the price. Was easier to order from Speedtech in the end

Price justification and all that, we've all heard the arguments and justifications over and over

I bought the BK2 and my old car locally though!

My Xray and RC12L4 are the only cars I have bought from the internet, only a few other parts here and there that are not easily available here like royal oil etc.. speedies radio batteries tires etc I buy locally.

I keep away from their children. thats the biggest issue there.

Myself and a couple of others hit the track in town the other day with no problems. A few parents came up and asked a stack of questions about them - thought they were pretty impressive.

Well I hope to get into it in the near future. No-one seems to have any Revo's in stock locally so i'll either settle for something else or play the waiting game.

Oh yeah, thats for sure Tim.

That demo they had a few months ago in the MF Car Park was awesome, the LST really did make the Revo look like a toy..
