i dont think it is.. because the entier revrse/brake eletronics are a fair bit different

Damn, cos i would love to do that to my V4r. Can't get rid of reverse without losing all the brakes! At least i have learnt never to buy an ESC which can not have reverse disabled completey and just have brakes.

Yeh thats why the second one I bought was the V4.A bit cheaper
and better for racing.Oh well ya learn from your mistakes.For
on-road racing I just dial out as much brake as possible on the
transmitter anyway.

That's why it is in Miriam's mini and i use an ESC with brakes and why if i bought another V4, it wouldn't have an R.

Yep, I've made heaps of buying mistakes over the last 2 years. Finally learning now.
