january 2006? thats good as that will give me time to wear my foams all out.

Currently at Rypers foams will still be allowed, unless they change there club day rules, which I don't think they will. It is only AARCMCC sanctioned events such as state titles that will be control tyre. It is not practical to control the tyres to a specific compound and insert for club days, so they may as will stick with open rubber/foams for Stock and Mod, and open rubber for anyone running 19 turn spec.

Ryper this sunday
There is no on-road racing this sunday at Ryper, pending good enough weather this week to dry the off-road track enough for the inreclub.

its just too damn serious to be using them if youre a 'C' class driver. Sure, 'A' main drivers should/could use them(normally sponsored anyway) and 'B' class driver needs them as an edge to get into the 'A' mains....its all about $$$ 13years ago and still about $$$ now.
1992, at Shenton park 1/12 race, i cant recall seeing any of those tyre warmers but i can still remember them using foams and having a great time.
1996, at bayswater on-road, rubbers were used and heaps of fun...
...WE SHOULD ALL GET TOGETHER AND HAVE A VERY BIG GROUP HUG....

Is there any minimum diameter and width rubber tires for racing?
I notice that tamiya tires are slightly bigger in diameter and width.

The strange thing that I see is that the wheel width should be between 24mm and 26mm, so how do you get a 20mm tyre onto a 24mm rim .
If anyone knows the actual values then please correct me.
