Exactly. It's for people with that twitch their head in one direction.

Either that or they can only turn one way.

Craigm, please don't turn this into a sexual preference joke.
Too early in the morning for that

Not sure this will be 15+ sec lap in mod but I'm sure it will take more than 15sec for Mutant when he drive his 2wd, even on oval section that is.

We need something technical!!!
3 harpins in a row isn't technical, most competent mod drivers can almost straightline those type of corners but they are bloody dreadful to negotiate in a nitro sedan that weights twice as much. If you want technical look at full scale tracks designed by Hermann Tilke like Shanghai and Istanbul e.g. changing radius corners like the long corner at IMCC where the timing loop is

Default Track

Andrew the track cant be just technical ,it needs easy options to for GAS and Beginners other wise the club wont grow.PPL who say a hard track makes better drivers are wrong it only makes good drivers better .Beginners just get frustrated or smash their cars (or someone elses) and dont come back.We want ppl to have fun .

yes and no, the track should be challenging but not contrived. Eg1 LRRCC's offroad track is VERY challenging making the good guys VERY good, and it's a big challenge for beginners. Eg2 whalan onroad has tried toe hard to be technical & as a result doesn't flow. Eg3 IMCC fairy meadow has a good mix of technicality and flow. The cutout makes the track challenging for 540 and stock but allows good flow for nitro. Narrabeen is the same. We've got more room than both IMCC and Narra, could we possibly do something like this?

1. If you use your imagination you can see 2/3s of the current sunday track
2. Mutant: you can imagine where the cutouts go to make an oval

3. how do you guys make your tracks so neat with ripple strips and all? i searched for circuit software but only came up with electrical circiuts

Craig, sorry but there's no way that track going to fit. We have to have 3.2-3.5m width lane. Size of track will be 2 extra lane from sunday track with wider lane(about 3m now). I just used Dens track from 4-5 page back and refined it. you can see green blocks on side and top of my pic, which is 1m ea.
