Thanks to SMA for putting on a good club day yesterday, there was a good turnout and had some good racing going on in Nitro, i enjoyed the 5min + 10min A final for nitro .

I think luck must of been with me that day as during the first 5 minutes my transmitter battery was dying and nearly done. But then red flag gave me enough time to charge it.

Well done to Michael taking 2nd and my friend Chris getting 3rd who hasn't been racing that long and is doing pretty well.

Great food by the way! Best steak sandwich i have had in a long time.

Cheers

Just seen you lurking around the forums and I mainly know everyone here. Are you a newbie in the electric scene?

Glad you and your son had a good time, you are always welcome and considering he is 5, he drove damn well! Be interested to see him at 10!!

Cheers

The trouble is 8 nitro finalists, 15 minute race so you need 8 pitmen, 4 nitro B finalist for marshals, doubling up as pitmen for some, I was pitman for my son (after running nitro B), damn hard. Thats when its good to have some volenteers as well (from the other classes).

We moved the nitro A final from last race of the day as when Nitro A finished there were not many left to help pack up, everyone seemed to dissapear. Many a day we have packed up the track and then another half an hour to pack up your own gear, meanwhile there are a heap of people who just pack up their gear at the end of the last race and then watch from inside the club while we finish packing up the track and our gear.......

Cheers
