THIS A BIG CALL OUT TO ALL RC RACES COME ON DOWN TO SMA AND BE PART OF OUR SUMMER SERIES!!!!!
2 POINT SCORES RUNNING, 1 FOR SUNDAYS, AND ONE FOR TUESDAYS
Tuesdays
9/11
23/11
7/12
21/12 (non pointscore fun meet)

Sundays
14/11
28/11
12/12

THERE WILL BE AN EXTRA SIX ROUNDS PER SERIES TO BE ORGANISED IN JAN, FEB AND, MARCH IN THE NEW YEAR TAKING THE TOTAL NUMBERS OF ROUNDS PER SERIES TO NINE, TOP SEVEN RESULTS WILL GO TOWARDS POINTSCORE
SO COME ON DOWN TO ONE OF THE BEST TRACKS IN THE COUNTRY AND SEE IF YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE THE SMA SUMMER SERIES CHAMPION
I just thought I'd quote this because I saw it and laughed. Steve is/was clearly excited!

The remaining pointscore rounds are as follows
Sundays: 23/1, 6/2 (this is actually CC), 20/2
Tuesdays: 18/1, 1/2, 15/2

An updated pointscore should be available in the next couple of days. We'll be crowning our summer champions on the 15th and 20th respectively, but the real prize comes at the end of the spring pointscore when we crown the overall champion for each class

On the basis that it may not survive tomorrow, here's my 21.5 shell

If it does make it through, I'll run the lights on Tuesday nights - shouldn't slow the silver can down too much

Completely agree, but they were the control rims for Summernats I do have a set of chrome 5-spokes somewhere with MM32's on 'em...

All things considered, the car fared well - no real disadvantage in pace or handling and looks cool flying around. The only minor bummer is that the shell is best suited to a shorter wheelbase car, the back arches don't look quite right.

Just run full short wheelbase

guess it's a bit late for that now
