That is good if we have less people, so we should have 4 rounds of QLF and longer in all Final.
The Ideas Man, What are you reckon?

I will be there sunday.

quote from SMA website "Sunday the 11th of December, SMA will run triple A finals for all electric classes (one final for Novice EP), Nitro B will run a 10 minute final and Nitro A will be 20 minutes (under Lights if needed)."

Yeah i think there should be as many finals as possible for everybody

Alternatively we could make an oval track at the end

or lets get a drift class going see who has the skills to pay the bills

Or DRAG RACING

In most cases, the Novice (EP) drivers have a limited number of batteries and therefore it would be pointless to offer them a Triple A final.

We will be happy to run a 540 pro class on the day (min 4 drivers) for the novice drivers wanting to step up a class.

The whole idea of the Triple A main (Usually run at State or National Events only) is a reward for doing well in qualifying and to determine the top drivers of the day in each class.

You could say the same for the Nitro B drivers only having half the time as the Nitro A's. Its a carrot to bring out the best Drivers of the day.

Just a remider, SMA normally runs three heats and one final for all EP classes.

This is just a bonus and a way to thank our drivers that have put in the hard yards and supporting Sydney Model Autosports Inc thru the year.

Cheers,

IDM (Matt Leeming)

Publicity Officer

PS: The SMA track will be open (FREE OF CHARGE) Saturday the 17th of December from 11am till 4pm. This will be a controlled practise day for both EP and Nitro cars. Come down for a FUN day of driving and enjoy the Jets Bistro and Bar. No need to book, just show up on the day with a power lead table and chair.

There is a breeze bringing in some grey stuff from the south, and the ambient has dropped! Could this mean that this cold front is going to bring some 'R' and spoil our party tomorrow?

Today was a fun day for Nitro A final. We ran 20 minutes in main final and heaps of action. Congratulation to NICK, he won the race.

After 20 minutes in main final on my last lap and it was right in front of me my con-rod snapped in half. This is my new motor O.S. TZ only have 1.2L of fuel.

Stuipd2, I will try to take some pics for you.
