Pointy things sticking up from the track If you go to practice during the week and you are a member of SDMCC you "buy" a key to get rid of the obstructions. Probably harder in practice than in theory. Was only a suggestion to try and keep the Nitro's off the track.

Heya Guys.

Well we are 95% ready now for the rebuild.

Bobcat is arriving at around 8am, Oil at 10:30am and the roller about lunch time.

10 tonnes of screened gawler river loam is arriving this afternoon aswell.

Any help that ppl can give friday afternoon, saturday and sunday would be greatly appreciated. It looks like we will be able to work till around 6:30 or so as the day light is lasting longer!!! We are going to try and oil some parts of the track late friday afternoon, from around 4pm till 7pm. So if possible guys come down in some work clothes and lend a hand!

Hopefully we should have an awesome track for a good few years to come!!

Heya Guys.

James that will be awesome!!! Thank dude!

So far the dirt is already there, we have marked out the track again, some of it was washed away with the rain last night. Dug up most of the concrete and should have it moved off the track by this afternoon.

Till tomorrow!

Sorry guys, cant make it now..

I had the time off approved by the boss, but my project manager really really needed me here tomorrow, so wasnt a lot I could do about it unfortunantly. A downside of being good at my job, I guess

I'll come down friday night to see how things go, I might be able to knock off an hour early anyway. We'll see what happens..

Heya Guys.

Ok first up thanks to everyone who made it down today, we are 95% finished now!!!

Its only tidying up that needs to be done, oiling is finished, rolling is pretty much finished.

It has turned out quite well, will be a better challenge now too!

Anyways there is still a little more work to be done, hopefully by late tomorrow afternoon (4pm) we can have a drive and see how it went.

track looks f*ckn sensational.

thanks to Ian, Glenn, Amy and Darren for their hard work!!! I'd lost a bit of interest in racing on such a shit track and tearing up tyres so frequently, but I wanna come race now.

Whens the next meet!

Tim: not to mention me, Mel, Ian Bennen, Slaven and David Yudkin who all did our fair share of shoveling, digging and sweeping oil

You should see it with Oil down! It looks even better!

Hiya guys!

This is my first post on here!

Just want to send a HUGEEEEE thanks out to a few people for their help with the rebuild!

I think that the 2 people that need the most thanks are Glenn and Darren! These two hard workers were there from sunrise to sunset thursday, friday and saturday and didnt stop the whole time they were there! You guys did a tremendous effort and it wouldnt have happened without your efforts! Thanks for doing the backbreaking work and getting all the equipment sorted and organised.. you guys did a great job! Well done!

Thanks also to Ian S, David, James and Mel, Ian Benham, and Slaven and his fantastic lil helper Jack.. was great to see the lil fella out there enjoying himself and being a part of it all! Thanks to Darrens mate Daniel for making his way out to the track even though he has only raced there once and for helping with all the concrete moving etc! thanks heaps for doing the drive out to Bolivar! Much appreciated Dan!

Track is getting there.... give a bit of time and it will come up perfect I am sure!

Hope to see alot more heads out at racing now!!

Thanks guys..

Amy!!!!!!!

yea Amy, top post, I cant thank the helpers enough. I hear Slaven and Jack did more than their fair share - well done to them. Maybe Jacks the next Masami!!

Looking forward to racing this weekend, and hopefully have 3-4 days of sunshine after the rain this morning and tomorrow to settle it down. there's a bit of loose dirt on the top atm but i cant see it being too bigger problem.

N James, no im not going to the coleman cup. As far as I know no SA offroad racers are.
