Hey James.

Not too bad.

We all had fun this afternoon, finished a little early too!!!!

The track is now starting to break up quite badly, hopefully we can rebuild it this week. I noticed a peice of solid dirt the size of a dinner plate break loose at one stage!!!!!

So Glenn, what exactly do we still need to organise to get the track rebuilt this saturday as planned?

Does a Roller/Bobcat need to be organised still? Do we have dirt organised? Oil for the track?

Im keen to come down with a shovel and wheel barrow, and I dont mind towing a trailer if we need a trailer towed full of dirt or something

Heya Guys.

Ok just thought i should update everyone on what is happening with the track rebuild.

As of 8:30am friday the bobcat will be tearing up the track and making the new layout. We have also secured at least 44 gallons of re-processed cooking oil and 10 tonnes of gawler river loam.

We are hoping to get 95% of the rolling/jump making done friday so that we can do the tidy up bits on saturday and sunday.

The track is now at the point of no repair! I can't patch it up any longer. This rebuild should mean that we will all have a great track to race on for the next 3-5 years. It will be alot less work to maintain aswell.

Anyways anyone that can come friday please do so, Ian or Myself will know what needs to be done, Saturday the same thing. We'll re-evaluate the situation on sunday, it may already be finished and ready for use.

Heya.

Yeah we had some ass clowns with a 1/5th scale buggy terrorising the oval and track yesterday afternoon, we asked them to leave and the cops were involved.

They ended up taking one of the NO NITRO signs. They left woodstock cans everywhere aswell.

I will try and have a look around the oval tonight for the sign.

Heya James.

EXACTLY the same. i think i saw the driver out there a week or 2 ago buying a whole heap of parts cos he had broken it.

Get the message nitro guys 1/10th, 1/8th and 1/5th YOU ARE NOT WELCOME at the mitchell park site. You will cause us more and more trouble.

We do have a site you can use, please make use of that instead of making trouble at mitchell park.

The Old SDMCC track at morphett vale is available for nitro use.

Hey Guys.

Ok the 10 tonne's of gawler river loam arrives at about 1pm tomorrow afternoon.

So we are pretty much all set!!!! All we need now is for friday to hurry up!!!

We should hopefully have most of the rolling done friday afternoon, possibly even the first part oiled!!!! We'll just have to see how it pans out.

Hey Glenn,

Sounds like a good reason to put lockable removable barriers across the track, or tire spikes.

BTW, have you heard anymore about your ADSL connection? Telstra seem to be really slow!!
