Glenn: haven't had a race meeting on it yet as we got rained out last time, but next weekend will be it's first proper test, although a few of the club members have been practicing on it a fair bit. Personally I've ran about 6 packs on it and it's definatly a horse power track with the main straight being a pretty big haul.

I've done some research for accommodation and a few places that are nearby are:

Shellharbour Resort
ph: 02 4295 1317

Lakeview Hotel/Motel, Oakflats
ph: 02 4256 5292

Shellharbour Village Motel
ph: 02 4296 9235

Cheers

Default off road racing entry

Can anyone enter these races? im new to rc but have all the good shit...

i got a losi xxxbk2 with a lrp quantum competition2, lrp phaser competition fm reciever, futaba 3pdf radio, futaba s9402 steering servo, and a slick d5 10 turn double. I been racing on the local bike track and think im ready to at least enter a stock class.

so can someone point me in the right direction for racing?

Yea ,start practicing, and when your done practice some more.

Start in 540 (if there is a class).
You will learn race craft, not how to be a hack ,like in stock.

Losi Buggys ,hitec radios, TEKIN speedys, Orion batts.

Race Mod at club and stock at bigger meets, but to many hacks in stock so going to race mod all the time now.

And I race at Wodonga (when its not raining), and all over Vic.

If your in Syd, (inner city) check out CMC indoor track, run on slicks!!!, I think they race on fridays.

Other than that ,most of the tracks in syd are good , and most of the racers are a great bunch of guys.
