why don't you guys bring this up in the liverpool club's nitrobuggies.com forum?
these are all valid points and would gain wider audience if brought up in the right website. (i believe some or most of the 1/8 racers frequenting St Ives & CH have visited and raced in liverpool before). |
What is the address??

Everyone, We, the 1/10th scale offroad clubs in Sydney, have been having trouble lately with some 1/8th scale cars using our tracks (both at St Ives and Castle Hill). As you guys know, a fair bit of time and money goes into creating a surface that is worth racing on and as such when it gets destroyed most of us aren't all that impressed. Usually when one or two cars use a track every now and then it's not too bad, however when you have 5 or 6 guys running on a track for entire days on a regular basis its causing a fair bit of damage, especially when our tracks aren't built to withstand the punishment of the larger, heavier 1/8th scale buggys and monster trucks. We would appreciate, if anyone is using either of these tracks (or any other 1/10th scale only tracks in Sydney or Australia really), if you could please not do so. In the same fashion as you guys probably don't like local kids with motocross bikes destroying your track, we don't like larger scale cars destroying ours. If you know of anyone that is using the tracks, please let them know that the damage that they cause is not appreciated and politely suggest that they lay off. I am under the impression that employees of a shop in the Sydney area are partly involved in this, and if they read this again - please don't use our tracks. Appreciate your understanding... Andrew |
Well said.

And this...ladies and gentlemen, is what you get when you politely suggest that what they are doing isn't particularly considerate.
http://www.chrcorcc.com/banned.gif People who can't even justify their actions or engage in a civilised debate. mmm I think perhaps somebody may have a guilty conscience. |
if the people doing it wernt involved in that forum then they wouldnt be able to ban you ;)

If you are sure it is the 1:8th drivers from that club why don't you contact the President of the club and let him know?

Re-posted with this...
Oh Mr Moderator... Now now, that was a little spineless wasn't it. As was deleting my earlier post. Whats up?? can't engage in a little healthy debate? or do you just know that what you're doing is inconsiderate? For everyone else...here's my original post... Everyone, We, the 1/10th scale offroad clubs in Sydney, have been having trouble lately with some 1/8th scale cars using our tracks (both at St Ives and Castle Hill). As you guys know, a fair bit of time and money goes into creating a surface.... It was more an FYI and request that if they knew anyone who was doing this it would be good to stop. Having said this also, there was one post in reply just before I was banned which said something along the lines of We are currently working on our track which you are welcome to use!!! In the meantime thanks for the use of yours. |
