Default digital servos

hey guys i have just recently bought my self a futaba s9550 digital servo.

just one question i have an AM controler and reciever will the servo still work because it says to only use FM?

what now??

Yes it will still work and it'll work @ .11 like it says. The only time you do really need it is to take advantage of HRS and PCM off the 3PK. I did the same thing with Adam's mini. I was controlling his mini with a digital servo with my shitty old AM 27Mhz controller.

BTW. I thought you were getting an XS3>?

I think with a digital controller it would make the servo perform at its best. With AM radio it wouldnt be as fast as what it should be at, thats why people buy FET servos for AM radio gears i think.

AM,FM,PCM or PMS has nothing to do with the speed a servo will operate at.

The speed of the digital servos can be at it best when you use the radios with HRS system...I think....

I have found it makes no difference. The mian thing with digital is you need to adjust the endpoints so they dont fry. So if its AM it will need to be a good one.
