digital servos
hey guys i have just recently bought my self a futaba s9550 digital servo.
just one question i have an AM controler and reciever will the servo still work because it says to only use FM? what now??:confused: |

I think with a digital controller it would make the servo perform at its best. With AM radio it wouldnt be as fast as what it should be at, thats why people buy FET servos for AM radio gears i think.

AM,FM,PCM or PMS has nothing to do with the speed a servo will operate at.

I have found it makes no difference. The mian thing with digital is you need to adjust the endpoints so they dont fry. So if its AM it will need to be a good one.
