Default Question regarding pullstart engine

Hi guys,

I just bought a gas car and it came with 2 engines, i want t put the force .17 motor in the car but the pull start is stuffed.

Are pull starts universal fitting or do i have to buy one to suit the engine?

Anyone know where i could find one in Sydney and aproximate cost?

Cheers Dave

Hey Mr Rolla! How's it going?

If your other engine is a similar size from the same maker then it should fit. eg: I've got a Force 21 pull start that fits force 25 motors also.

I don't know if it fits a Force 17, in fact I didn't know there was a Force 17, but your happy to try it out if you want, since I blew up my Force 21 motor anyway.

I'm after $20 for it, but if you can find it for $30 or less then I'll drop my price!

Cheers, Oggy.

p.s. I work in Parramatta if it's easy enough to meet up & try it out.

You need one off a force .12, .15 or .17, your LHS should be able to help you.

$45.00 is about normal retail. $28.00 is cheap, if they said its off a force engine you should be OK. It all depends if the drive is worth $17.00
