i need some clarification for some rules in the arcmac stock class. whats the minimum ride height? and what is the maximum wheel and tyre width? the arcmac rules (may be an old version) says you can run 28mm wide tyres but only 26mm wide rims, what if i want to run 28mm wide foam tyres? to i have to chop the rim down?

Default Qualifying

It's changed. With the unexpected umber of entries (thanks guys) we've had to reduce the number of rounds of qualifying to three (down from four). This will see racing finish at 9.30pm (previously 10.50pm) on Saturday and 4pm (previously 5.10pm) on Sunday.

I also see the current 540 Worlds champion (Luc Botton) is running in 540. I wonder if anybody can know him down a peg.

Normally on carpet 3mm is the min ride height but I would say you need to run a little more than this as it's a longer pile than ozite. 26 is the max width, 28 was to cover tire bead.

Coxy.

Default Ride Height

Ride height for ISTC is 5mm.
Rim width is 26mm, the tyre can have a max width of 28mm.
In the case of rubber tyres, the tyre can over hang the rim by 2mm in total with the bag of the side wall of the tyre.
You could try and true your foam tyres the same way if you like ?
Pretty straight forward when you read the rules that are on the AARCMCC web site.

Have we all returned the from the Capital of RC?

ACT titles completed and a good meeting it was, great racing , great track, the club did a great job. How good was the indoor weather lol, those heaters were fantastic.

Alycat again caused issues, this time the club handled the situation "very" well and progressed the meeting as best possible. The issues mainly annoy races as we don’t get to see accurate race times, consistency etc and in bad cases skewed results.

BTW: who won concourse?

Qualified 4th in Stock and 7th in mod, both with Assassins. Stock car was very good, but i did not pay enough attention to my stock motor service. Stuffed up first final with wrong tires and ran a test motor in 2nd final so got DQ'd, did not run 3rd final. So i assume i got 10th as a final position.

Mod was fun, not sure where i finished.?
