is there a body shell of choice for the gt1 class? i guess it's open to all tamiya kit bodies (assuming they're available through t.t.).

Quite a wide range of shells out there, but Mr Zarb did win with an NSX2002 closely chased by Mr Cooke's Modena.

Post STOCK CLASS ESC'S

I have recently been doing my research on the TEU 101 Tamiya speedy and it appears as though this speedy is a Futaba that sports a Tamiya label. Oh, and it's also painted black! Doesn't it seem a little unreasonable to request this type of speedy if you already have the Futaba equivalent. Apples are apples right? Especially if they come from the same tree!

Apples may be apples but even if they're not oranges they're not the same.

Futaba's entry level units are the MC330CR (pink fuji?) or MC230CR (red jonathan?)... both of which are far superior in specs to the Tamiya TEU101BK (cox pippin??).

Hi Guys back from Tamworth, Love the pic have you anymore?
About the ecs you can only use the teu 101 and for those that have the pro-built you can use the system in them but you have to use the radio gear that it comes with.

Okay, that's cool.

It does make for complications I think if there are restrictions with some speedys over others and things like that. I think that because its a cheap class to run, that you should have to use the mechanical speedy. If you want something a bit faster and to put a bit more money into it, go into F1 or GT1 if you dare!!

That's just my take on it. Of course, if thats what they do in Japan, then that's fair enough. But they should change the Japan rulz!!
