Yea Trev, have to agree with you on that....we were stuck in that traffic for almost 2 hrs....what should have been a 2 hrs drive back, ended up taking 3hrs 55mins...

How about getting some lights for the club challenge, therefore, it doesnt have to be a ridicously early start for the guys driving up from Sydney, and also, since it finishes later, we may avoid the horrible traffic on the way back on the GWH.

But besides that traffic back....it was a great drive up there....and the track was great...

Cones...

I guess you hit a lot of easter holiday traffic? I know a lot of people do take easter week off... Or is traffic normally that bad?

There is a normal club meeting on the 9th of May, the w/end before the club challange meeting if anyone is interested. Will be manually lap counting that one though.

Just looked in the old results (here) Looks like previous best for stock was 17, thats now 19

I believe previous 2 speed best was 47 laps, now 52 !!

I am sure the w/end results will be uploaded soon, once MR eyes unpacks hehehe.

Yeah,
We had an awesome time at lithgow on sunday. The sruface is a bit iffy when you first look at it, but once tha cars are on it, its pretty damn good, just gotta wait for the gas boys to lay some rubber and oil down. Also one of the nicest driver stands ive been on. Just a pity we could only race 2qs and 1final. But the challenge round is gonna be crazy! cant wait.

On a sour note, we gotta find another way home!!!!!!!! God damn cauliflower truck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are there any setup tips from the people who went to lithgow?
What tyres work best?
Shock Oil?
sway bars?
roll out?

I ran an xray, but I can help you with general info for any car.
the surface is pretty smooth (dont be fooled by the looks of it) so you can run a fairly light oil/piston set up with med springs. Just dont run too soft a spring because theres a lot of high loading corners on the track.(for the sexray posse, I ran bark blue front and violet rear) Tyres I ran 40r all round although I may bring some 37r for the rears just in case. In the morning it was a bit dusty, sorex28s/b-firms did the job. Rollcenter, I ran fairly short links front and rear to match the new arms on the sexray, I found it was "carvier" especially through the fast bits. I had a longer link on the rear, like i would have at the creek, but it was snappy after loading. 2mm sway bar on front only, just helps sit flatter around mega sweeper!

I was happy with that, wouldve been nice to get more runs in though. Roll out, can only help you with B/L roll out. 33mm.
