TJ, I was just having a look at the lithgow video and was wondering if they actually run any barriers. From what i could see they only had lines marked and nothing to stop other cars from running into the next lane! Just curious!

If you look at the original video you can see the barriers (it's of the nitro track though). That was done on a club day meet.

The latest video was done on a Monday, the day we put the raised dots on the track so track barriers where not in place. Makes practice a lot easier when you don't have to both marshal and drive yourself hehehe

Hi Rock
yes mate we run a a barrier made of a large diameter (aprox 2inch) pipe strategically placed around the track on a race meet day to ensure safety

Hi people, hope you had a good day at Lithgow yesterday

Was great to watch the mod class go around long nitro track I hope they use the long track for the club challange day!

Looks like my tuning "problems" have been air leaks, so now I got some homework to do and catch up to a serpant 710 I believe? heheheheh

It is up to Lithgow but it would be good to use the long track for all classes. But I'm not sure if it would be to long for 540 and mini, seeing that modified were doing only 14 laps. Stock on the short track was still 19 laps I think thats the fastest time to date is it?
But it was a great day fantasic weather great track guy's. I think I'll go home next time along the bell. The club had 66 entries on the weekend so its looking like its going to be a long day on the 16th if the number keep up. It will be definate early start with no entries on the day if we hope to get through the event before dark
