every team that doesn't get factory support from Ford should do the same thing, they'll soon wonder why there's only 2 fords on the grid...

Surely both drivers would have to be thinking.... Hope Our Luck Doesn't End Now!

Yeah they just showed the story, they are going to be with Holden next year.
They interviewed Whincup and he said they hadn't got any factory support all year. Don't blame them for switching.

No other teams can keep up with 888 racing this year

So when Lowndes and Whincup go to Holden no one in the field will see which way they went they will be that far in front.

Gee thats sad news to the Ford fans.

Really i cant blame them. Ford said they werent into helping other teams out due to a number of reasons but one them is that they want there product to have ford sponsorship???

Well they have VOLVO plasterd across their front Splitter.

DJR will be next i say to follow the same Chassis as 888.

“Triple Eight Race Engineering started running with General Motors in the UK, winning many races and Championships, and it was only an anomaly due to circumstances that we did not race Holdens when we began in V8 Supercars.

“I have always wanted to put that right when the opportunity arose, which it now has.” - Roland Dane

And people wonder why Ford didnt give 888 money! Imagine giving them sponsor dollars and have them go and do this anyway. Something tells me ford money or not, this was on the cards! Good call Ford

Due to the 888 Deal Kelly Racing is one of the teams that might be loosing there funding.

will be good to see hopefully they can engineer the cars to beat the walkinshaw ones.

Like they say "If you cant Beat 'em, Buy 'em"

Finally a Top Holden team, with drivers who are just people, not wankers like Skaife, Tander and Co

Default doh

ford still supplied bodies and all the crash panels etc for the cars.they dont hand out wads of cash, but really with gm in the usa down the drain, where is holden gettin all the coin to pay for vodafone?
one team might lose out, maybe we will see the kelly boys in a ford, or supercheap might go back to a ford, who knows.

im just glad i never bought vodafone gear lol.

i doubt DJR will ever go over to holden,as it is there will be more holden teams than ford......and holden still cant win lol.

That's a bit harsh. Remember, it is the team that has changed and not the divers necessarily. Lowndes did not even go to the launch due to his Ford commitment.
