Meca Challenge 2004

When and where is the first race? Are binary motors allowed to run?

It could be interesting RTR Lines has quoted 2 rounds at EC, while they were good events, Walter has yet to approach Burgo to request dates and sort out details.

Default Handout's

I think they should start using handout motors. It would stop a lot of arguing and bitching. Sure it might put up entry fees but you still get to keep the motor afterwards, all you have to do is change the motor that is used on a yearly basis. This year run the orion core and next year run the monster.
This would put a lot more emphasis on driving skill which is what stock racing is spose to be about.

food for thought

Default Motor Hand-outs!

If that's to happen, it will lean towards a 23 turn handout as the Meca organiser happens to imports the 23 turn atlas motors.

MECA is not organised enough for a motor handout system. Besides 23turn motors are easy to get and there are many brands.

i wonder if 27t might not be a close thing to the 23t stockers on the new EC layout?

it seems fairly open and the extra top end of the 27t might be enough to keep it in front....

ill be gearing to the moon with my "zero" 23t surely ther havent been any advancements in 12mths!

Well we are about a month out from the first round of MECA and EC have yet to hear from Walter regarding holding ANY events this year, someone close ot walter better get him to contact Burgo to discuss the conditions of the meetings.

How about instead of MECA we have the "Besercoe MEGA challenge" details to follow, but you had better have an iron stomach if you wish to challenge for the title

Maybe!!!!! we could have a lemans style start where you have to down a Big Mac and large fries before getting on the drivers stand, i say i have a good chance of dominating, although the ever increasing girth of Dazza may be mu downfall.

Perhaps the drivers shold also balance a medium shake on their heads with long bendy straw incase they get thirsty. If the shake falls off, they have to stop till it is replaced.

The winner to recieve a garland of apple pies and spray the crowd through the straw of a large Coke.
