well unless walter changed his mind it is over two days!! qualifying for electric and nitro on sat, racing sunday!!
walter said this to A.kickass.K himself....

.....so it's now $30 because????....... more work? for steve that is right? cuz he's the only person doing the hard yards that i can see at EC.

speaking of entry forms does anyone know where I can find one? Plus what are the specifications for stock motors allowed at Meca?

Walter has been dispersing the entry form to tracks, and shops. I have not got it in front of me, but Saturday is Nirto and Sunday is electric, Walter proposed a 2 day meet and it was rejected by all racers we spoke with and the EC club. The price rise was a surprise to all, as far as i know there are only 2 possible reasons, A.) to provide a better meeting with bigger trophies and prizes, or B.) to pad out walters wallet a bit more. Personally i hope it is the former, but we will find out at the meeting i guess.

Yes Nitro on Saturday and electric on Sunday. It's on the entry form.

As for the entry form I will try to get one posted on www.racingfactory.org or on RCTECH.

Stock motors any 23turn stock motor JRM I think.

I will tell you after MECA LOL. Sorry can't help you out on that one but I do believe the Tamiya 23t is good and the Mirage JRM is a very wide choice for Japaneze guns.

most 23turn manufacturers seem to make a torque and a revs version. i would assume a revs motor MIGHT and i mean might work better at eastern creek due to the fact it has fairly quick corner speed (if your car is set up right), but dont quote me on that. I was running a torque motor, with 37ish rollout, it ripped out of corners but lacked top end, the powerband on my motor might be wrong for this type of track, the only way to find out is testing.

if someone had one of those rc data loggers and a dyno it would be easy to tell which motor suited which track best.
