Sad to hear we will be loosing you to karting Brett, been fun racing against you. Might see you back some day if you break a few bones :-)
Some quality German machinery there on ebay guys (as Stars has told you all).
Please don't you all start fighting and tripping over each other to get them though. Even once they are sold I'm sure Doug would only be too willing to hook you up with a quality LB.

"Hi Guys,
Due to the facts that:-
* there are at least 148 entries for the ic Nationals at our track;
* qualifying commences on Wednesday Sept 30th;
* international and interstate competitors are anticipated.
the ic guys have requested the 4th Sunday as a setup/practice day.
As this request does not seem unreasonable, it is proposed that we postpone our next LS race day to SATURDAY October 10th, commencing at 11:00 am. The reasons for this date and time are:-
* daylight saving will have commenced;
* the Bathurst 1000 is on Sunday October 11th so there would be a conflict of interest for many members if we raced on the Sunday.
Alternatively, we abandon the September race day altogether.
Your comments and/or alternatives would be appreciated.
If I've missed anyone you know of, could you please forward this post to them as well."
Regards,
Keith
NB: This is an email to Moorebank members from Keith Mealey which I have asked for permission to post on RC Tech.

WORK BEE and Positions vacant or the IC NATS
WORK BEE and Positions vacant or the IC NATS
TO ALL MOOREBANK MEMBERS:
A very important WORK BEE is to be held on Saturday 26th September from 9am. This is the last chance to get the facility ready for the NATS. We need ALL members to attend as there are many jobs that remain undone. Our last work bee (Last Saturday) was very poorly attended, and we MUST have all members at the next one. Please make yourself available.
POSITIONS VACANT FOR THE NATS:
There are a number of positions needing to be filled from Tuesday 29th September to Sunday 4th October. Scrutineers, Referees, and Canteen assistants are the main jobs which we need help and we are calling all members from all sections to lend a hand. REMEMBER that there are a total of 148 entries, and we are expecting there to be at least 200 people per day who need to be fed, watered and directed during the week of the event. This is the chance for the club to make back a fair portion of the cost of re-surfacing and upgrading our facillity. It is also he opportuninty to showcase our great track and improvements. PLEASE DONT LET YOUR CLUB DOWN. Contact myself or Christian Ternel to avail yourself.
With Thanks,
Ric Bartolozzi

I've replied to Keith but I thought I'd post my answer here also.
As a 1/5th racer, I don't have a problem with handing the club that weekend for more I.C Nat's prep.
I'd like to see our club day (1/5th) rescheduled though to some time in October and not cancelled.
The 1/5th guys have their Nat's in Melbourne early November so they don't have many more race day available to them to sort their stuff for their Titles. If it's cancelled it would leave only the 4th weekend in October.
Craig
PS, I'll be there on the 26th.

I have no prob with your proposal, I think it is reasonable, if it's rescheduled to a Saturday I can't make it as it is my biggest day of the week work wise.
I will be available to scruiteneer or cook a BBQ etc, I'm trying to work around taking a day off mid week, as you have previously identified, due to work, members find it difficult to attend until weekends. I'll let you know soon as I get approval from the boss, it'll cost me a trip to the jewlers to find something shiny, but getting the oportunity to fail an Edam or two at scruiteneering will be worth it. Lol
Cheers
Neil
PS
too old n fat n useless to do much at a work bee but more than happy to cook a sausage sizzle on a Sunday just let me know.
